Deliverable Preflight is published by ArsKhan Software. This policy describes how the Deliverable Preflight Windows application and the public deliverablepreflight.com website handle information.
Local processing
Deliverable Preflight processes files and folders selected by the user to compare a CSV or XLSX document register with files in a delivery folder. This processing occurs locally on the user’s Windows device.
The application does not transmit register contents, filenames, folder contents, reports, saved mappings or other user data to ArsKhan Software or any third party. It does not use cloud processing, analytics, telemetry, advertising, user accounts or behavioural tracking.
Files and folders
Deliverable Preflight reads only the register and delivery locations selected by the user. It does not rename, move, modify or delete register or delivery files. Exported CSV and XLSX reports are created only when the user chooses a destination.
Saved mappings
Saved register mappings are stored locally in the current Windows user’s LocalAppData folder at DeliverablePreflight\saved-mappings.json. A saved mapping contains its name, header-row number, mapped column-header names, schema version and timestamp. It does not contain register contents, imported rows, reports, or source and delivery-folder paths.
Users can delete saved mappings within the application.
Website analytics
The public deliverablepreflight.com website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, general traffic sources, device and browser categories, approximate geographic region, scrolling and outbound link activity. This includes a custom event when a visitor follows a link to the Deliverable Preflight Microsoft Store listing.
Analytics applies only to the public website. It is not built into the Deliverable Preflight Windows application, and register contents, filenames, folder paths, reports and saved mappings are never included in website analytics.
Analytics storage is denied by default. If a visitor selects Accept analytics, Google Analytics may store first-party analytics cookies. If a visitor selects Decline, analytics storage remains denied. The consent choice is saved locally in the visitor’s browser and can be reset by clearing site data. Google processes analytics information under its own privacy terms.
Microsoft services
Microsoft Store and the Windows operating system may process information independently under Microsoft’s own terms. Deliverable Preflight does not receive that information.
